Let's get you to the right place
If you want to print clay & paste, click on the new 3D PotterBot V2.0
3D PotterBot is specifically designed for ceramic paste printing. (Although it can also be used for UV resin paste & food). The inverted Delta 3D printer design has some very unique features that haven't been utilized until today. By eliminating the hose delivery system we can also eliminate lag and hysteresis caused by hoses. This results in an extremely precise and constant extrusion layer throughout the entire print. Our extruder uses no air for extruding.
If you want to print clay & paste but only need our Linear Ram Extruder (because you already have 3D printer)
We have recently developed a new system for large scale delivery of paste. This linear actuator RAM is fully controllable from within the standard 3D printer control software.
We have had several requests about minimal nozzle size, so I decided to do an experiment with a 1.0 mm nozzle. We used our regular clay which we use for all of our larger nozzles. Much to my surprise as you can see from the print the 1.0 mm nozzle was quite capable of handling the regular thicker clay with no problem. I also was impressed about the consistency and the control, even though we were using the large 2000 ml extruder. So to answer any questions, our equipment is capable of probably less than 1.0mm with the proper preparation of the clay or any other material.
